Definitely not worth the money

I've been using this book for a senior level instrumentation and design course and really dislike the way the material is presented. Many times, while I was re-reading or scanning through the material for assistance on the chapter problems, I would find that the sections I needed most had the least amount of detail. This was particularly true for the chapters on statistics where things were poorly explained and conclusions seemed to appear out of thin air. Not only that but there are mathematical and logical errors throughout the book, (moreso in the statistics sections again). I even consulted with a statistics professor on some problems, and he would say, on more than one occasion, that the approach in the book was incorrect.
Our professor routinely answers examples with the provided solution manual, and we, the students, have called him out for solving these problems incorrectly multiple times. I distinctly remember various Fourier series and transforms being done incorrectly, and multitudes of algebraic mistakes throughout the semester.
I wish I had known earlier that this book would have been a waste of $170.00. I've bought physics books with 4-times as much information for less than this book. There's no reason for the publisher or authors to charge this much for a book that is of this quality. The exact same information is in the older editions, with only the chapter problems changed here and there. In all honesty, you're probably better off finding a good statistics book, a solid mathematics textbook (Engineering Mathematics by Peter O'Neil), and a circuits book rather than buying this. I could almost guarantee that you would end up spending a similar amount of money but have much more quality information.
If at all possible, stay away from this thing. If you must buy this book, see if you can at least save some cash and get an older edition.

Riddled with Errors

While this book is fairly comprehensive and covers most of the material in a complete course on experimental design and analysis it is riddled with errors. There are at least three or four significant misprints in each chapter (most of the most egregious are in the statistics chapter).
I have been using this book to teach a junior level course to mechanical engineers and will not be using it any more. The mistakes really confuse and frustrate the students.

Incorrect Information

I used this book for my mechanical measurements class and my professor was constantly correcting errors in the book. Some of the errors were on the basic principle formulas of the section it was in. As an example a very fundamental equation of mechanical engineering, "Poisson's Ratio", was incorrect in this book. These types of errors are unacceptable in a textbook for this level of study.
